What it does

A 700 g pack at 425 TL or a 350 g pack at 230 TL: which is cheaper? And is it cheaper at the shop down the (virtual) road? Terazi is a free Chrome extension that answers both on the page you are already looking at.

Sorts by price per kg or litre

One click in the bar at the bottom right: ↑ Artan puts the cheapest per kg first, ↓ Azalan the most expensive, ✕ brings back the shop's order. Multipacks like 4 x 1 L, 6'lı or 1000 g x 2 are counted correctly, and the page doesn't jump.

Shows the unit price the shop leaves out

Many shops print only the package price. Terazi works it out from the price and the size in the name and shows it on the product, like ≈ 478,00 TL/kg.

Tells you, on every product, where it is cheaper

Each product gets one of three badges. Click a red or amber one to open that product at the other shop.

Estimates what you saved

When you switch to a cheaper shop, or add a product to the cart where it is cheapest, Terazi counts the difference and keeps a running total in the bar: ≈ 312 TL tasarruf. The total lives only in your browser.

How it works

On the page. Terazi reads the product names and prices the shop already shows, works out TL per kg, litre or piece, and reorders the products with CSS, so the shop's own page keeps working.

Same product or similar. Two products are the same when brand, total size, variant and fat content match and the names differ only by filler words (Taze, Tam Yağlı, Peyniri, UHT…). They are similar when they are the same kind of product and variant, sold by the same unit, at most four times apart in size.

Other shops. As products scroll into view, a background worker searches Migros, Macrocenter, Şok and Amazon for the product name and for the product without its brand, at most two requests at a time per shop, cached for an hour.

Kept working. Every day an automated check opens all nine shops with the extension, verifies cards, unit prices, sorting and badges, and opens a fix when a shop changes its site.
